Angeline M. Wiederin

Angeline M. Wiederin, 81, went home Sunday, March 17, 2019. Her time on earth is done, but she would like you to join her family to celebrate her life 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2019 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 4:00 p.m. There will also be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday March 19, 2019 at Corpus Christi Church. Angeline is survived by her children, Cyndee Lochray of Fort Dodge; Debra (Brad) Amendt of Iowa City; Rick Wiederin of Fort Dodge; grandchildren, Jeremy (Kelly); Teri (Brent); Jaci; Chris (Aaron); nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; siblings, Ambrose Anthofer; Arby Anthofer; and Aggadella Tigges. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary (Kirsch) Anthofer; siblings, Alvin Anthofer and Alberta Stevens. Angeline Marie Anthofer was born May 10, 1937 in Carroll. She attended school in Roselle. She married Alfred Wiederin in 1954. The couple later divorced. Angeline made her home in Fort Dodge. She retired as a rural carrier for the Post Office. Angeline enjoyed gardening all types of plants, vegetables, fruits and flowers. Angie liked to go fishing and especially liked the Home Shopping Network. Angeline will be deeply missed. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
