Jamael Stephon Cox was born June 15, 1995 in Fort Dodge. He attended Fort Dodge schools. He fought a strong and courageous battle with leukemia and was winning. On June 17, 2017 he married the love of his life, Savena Poe. The couple made Fort Dodge their home. Jamael worked for Webster City Custom Meats and Prestage Foods. He loved to play video games, hang with family and friends, and cruise around with Savena and their dog Max. Jamael was the sweetest and nicest man anyone could ever meet; anything could make him proud. He would do anything for anyone without hesitation. He was full of life and could always be seen with a smile on his face. He loved his wife so much that she felt she could accomplish the smallest task and he would hype her up so much, it was like a baby taking her first steps. Their love was one for the record books. A love some of us can only dream of. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorials may be left to family discretion.
