Leonard Glenn Mitchell

Leonard G. Mitchell, 81, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at the Marian Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. A visitation will be held Monday, October 24, 2016 from 4:00- 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include his daughters, Beth Stuhr of Johnston, IA; Kathy (Pat) Schleisman of Eugene, OR; Lori (Steve) Hall of Allen, TX; Lisa (Brian) Lind of McKinney, TX; and Melissa (Greg) Wendland of Moorland, IA; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Kay (Riney) Mitchell; son, Mark Allen Mitchell; parents Benjamin and Helen (Greder) Mitchell; and six siblings. Leonard Glenn Mitchell was born April 13, 1935 in Dow City, IA. He graduated from Dow City High School. He was with White's Transfer and Storage for over 30 years, retiring in 1998. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
