Lois Jane Rhodes

Lois Jane (Law) Rhodes, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, age 79, of Tea, South Dakota, formerly Fort Dodge & Duncombe, passed away at Good Samaritan's Luther Manor in Sioux Falls, SD on October 17, 2015. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Washington Township Cemetery, Duncombe. A visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23, at the funeral home. Lois was born on a farm in Calhoun, Iowa on October 16, 1936. She graduated from Duncombe High School. Lois married Daniel Rhodes on March 10, 1957. In addition to raising 4 children, Lois worked the family farm, worked for First Interstate Bank in Duncombe & Fort Dodge, and assisted in the family business Condon Insurance. Lois enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, cooking, and playing cards. Grateful for having shared her life are her daughter, Lisa (Mark) Hansen, Tea, SD; sons, Thomas Rhodes, Stillwater, MN, Ronald (Judy) Rhodes, Maricopa, AZ, James (Clarence Weis) Rhodes, Tea, SD; her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Eric (Emily) Rhodes and their children, Darryn and Devyn, Jason (Kate) Rhodes and their son Jaxon, Christian, Cooper and Cari Hansen, Lauren and Chandler Rhodes, and Taran Rhodes and her son Ryley.
