Patricia Stuhrenberg

Patricia L. Stuhrenberg, 84, died Sunday, November 1, 2020 at the Marian Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 PM at Holy Trinity Church with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in Corpus Christi Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Holy Trinity Church. Patricia is survived by her children Marvin (Brenda) Stuhrenberg of Mt. Auburn; Dean (Connie) Stuhrenberg of Duncombe; Keith (Betty) Stuhrenberg of Barnum; Don (Rhonda) Stuhrenberg of Des Moines; Alecia (Jerry) Eslick of Adel; Tracy (Kurt) Devries of Burnside; and Tim (Stacey) Stuhrenberg of Fort Dodge; 16 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, siblings JoAnn (Vernon) Hoover and Mary Alberta (Mervin) Hoover both of Fort Dodge. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert J. Sr. and Mary P. (Tuvell) Husske, husband Bernard, infant daughter Karen Louise, siblings Albert Husske Jr., Marilyn Porter, Mary Louise Husske and Richard Husske. Patricia Louise Husske was born February 6, 1936 in Fort Dodge. She attended country schools and later graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1954. Following her education, she worked at Mercy Hospital as a nurse's aide. On November 15, 1955 Pat was united in marriage to Bernard Stuhrenberg and the couple made their home in rural Fort Dodge. When her children were mostly grown, she went to work at LaVonne's as a seamstress and later worked from her home. Pat enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking and loved caring for her family and their time spent together. She was member of Holy Trinity Parish, Rosary Society, Ladies Union, and served as Eucharistic Minister. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family.
