Sharon "Bubbles" Steburg

Sharon Kay "Bubbles" Steburg, 65, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Friday, December 21st, 2018, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 29th at 10:30 AM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Survivors include her son, Allan (Molly) Pickett of Webster City and their children, Tabatha, Taylor, Cole, and Drew Pickett; daughter, Bonnie Myer of Fort Dodge; and her children, Morgan Myer and Elizabeth Drake; and 1 great granddaughter, Bailey Corey; mother, Fern Horton of Fort Dodge. She was preceded in death by her dad LeRoy Horton Sr. and her brother, LeRoy Horton Jr. Sharon Kay "Bubbles" Horton was born on March 1, 1953 in Fort Dodge. She was raised on a farm in Coalville. She went to school at Pleasant Valley II in Coalville and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1971. Bubbles then attended college for several years. She went to work for Amuse-O-Matic for 14 years. Bubbles then went to work for C and S Products for 25 years. She retired on April 26, 2018. She loved her job and what she was doing there. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
