Shirley A. Donahoe

Shirley A. Donahoe, 71, of Naperville, IL, formerly of Fort Dodge, IA, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2017. An incredible mom, grandma, sister, aunt, wife and friend, she has now left her loved ones on earth to be with her loved ones in Heaven. She was born August 15, 1945 at Fort Dodge, IA. She was always a positive, strong person who took care of everyone and taught us all so much about loving life. Her family celebrates her life and gives thanks to God for sharing her with us. She will be missed so very much but we know she is now at peace and dancing in heaven with her beloved, Bob! Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, her parents, Floyd and Lavona Ewing. Survived by her children, Shawn (Brent) Anderson of Naperville, IL and Greg (Colleen) Donahoe of Omaha, NE. Carrying on her legacy are her five incredible grandchildren, Brandon, Courtney, Ryan, Emily and Kate. She loved them more than anything! The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Sunrise Assisted Living (Naperville, IL) and Harbor Light Hospice (Glen Ellyn, IL) for the incredible care they provided to Shirley.
