Angel Rees

Angel M. Klein, 53, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at her home.

Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Saturday, January 27, 2024 in the chapel of Laufersweiler Funeral Home. A visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Angel is survived by her boys, Anthony Klein and his children, AJ, Amariauna, and Cece; Earl "Bobby" (Tera) Klein and their son Riley; Nathan (AJ) Klein and their children, Jasper and Carter; Damion Klein and his children Falen, Bryant, and one on the way; Brandon Mapes and his son Memphis and one on the way; and Billy Rees and his children, Oddy, Hailee, Owen, Heavyn, Kash, and Wrenleigh; her father, Danny Klein, Sr.; siblings, Shelly Klein, DeDee Klein, and Danny Klein, Jr.; her aunt and best friend, Toni Schmalen. Angel was a mother to so many others that it's impossible to name them all. It wasn't odd to hear them called "Wendy and the Lost Boys".

She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Blair; and grandparents, Bob and Evelyn Blair.

Angel Marie Klein was born June 28, 1970 in Fort Dodge. She attended area schools and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High. She was united in marriage on May 4, 2006 to Edwin Rees. Angel was the least selfish person you would ever meet. She would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. She saw the best in everyone and helped and loved them with no end in sight. Her caring nature led her into work as a CNA. She was employed numerous places including the Marian Home and the Villa Care Center. Angel enjoyed gambling and watching her 49ers. She loved travelling with Ed in the semi around the country. Above all else, even the "lost boys" she cherished her grandchildren and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
