Anita E. Dencklau, 90, of Vincent passed away Monday, March 14, 2022 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday March 18, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Grace Lutheran Church. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Grace Lutheran Church. Anita is survived by her children Doug (Marjean) Dencklau of Vincent, Leonard (Sharon) Dencklau of Fort Dodge, Tom Dencklau of Kentucky, Elaine (Tom) Tabat of Fort Dodge, and Darrin (Melissa) Dencklau of Fort Dodge; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Vivian Marshall of NE, Beverly Rippentrop of AZ, and Wanda Baumberger of KS. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Ceciel (Anderson) Paulson; husband Harold Dencklau; son Duane Dencklau; infant granddaughter and brothers Orvin Paulson and Keith Paulson, son-in-law Steve Echelberger. Anita Elaine Paulson was born March 11, 1932 in Iowa City. The family moved to Mason City where she lived until 1943. She then moved to Fort Dodge and has been a lifelong member of Webster County. On December 5, 1948, she was united in marriage to Harold Dencklau. The couple made their home in the Vincent area and farmed. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and the Women of the Moose. Laufersweiler Funeral Home is serving the family. Memorials may be left to family discretion.
