Ann Beletti

Ann E. Beletti, 91, of Fort Dodge, passed away Friday, February 3, 2017 at Mitchellville, IA. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in the Chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. Sacred Heart Church with Fr. Patrick Behm officiating. Burial will be at Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Ann is survived by her niece, Quinta Ristori-McGruder of Mingo, IA; several other nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and nephews; and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marico Beletti; parents, Steve and Marian (Pace) Messa; sisters, Mary Marino; Jennie Ristori; Rose Chinberg; Irene Recchia; and brother, Frank Messa. Ann Elizabeth Messa was born April 29, 1925 in Fort Dodge. She was raised and educated in Fort Dodge, graduating from Sacred Heart School in 1943. Ann was united in marriage to Marico Beletti on June 27, 1949 at Sacred Heart Church. The couple established their home in Fort Dodge. She was employed by Globe Union for 38 years, retiring in 1987. Annie was a member of Holy Trinity, Catholic Daughters of America, YMCA, and a past member of Italian Mutual Auxiliary. Over the years, she enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
