April 15, 1933 — March 3, 2016

Ann Motl, 82, of Fort Dodge passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Des Moines. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2016 at Grace Lutheran Church with Rev. Matthew Manz officiating. Burial will be in Newman Grove, Nebraska at the Hope Cemetery. A visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Ann is survived by her daughters, Kim Motl; Lisa Condon, both of Fort Dodge; son, Timothy (Sherri) Motl of Fort Dodge; grandchildren, Matt (Talia) Condon and their children, Clayton; Trevor; Troy, all of Palmer; Sara (Shadd) Scharf and their children, Jaedyn Condon; Baylee; Daryan; Charly Scharf, all of Fort Dodge; Jake (Sara) Condon and their children, Kase and Kolton, all of Fort Dodge; Will (Amanda) Condon and their son, Layne, of Clare. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Kathryn (Aldrich) Kaufman; husband, Jim; brother, Tom Kaufman; sister, Lou; son-in-law, Terry Condon. Mary "Ann" Kaufman was born April 15, 1933 in Newman Grove, NE. She graduated from Newman Grove High School. Following her education, she taught in a one room school house in the Newman Grove area for a period of time. Ann was united in marriage to Jim Motl in 1954 and the couple established their home in Fort Dodge. Ann worked at Sears in the service department for over 35 years. Granny enjoyed spending all of her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren especially attending their various activities. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
