Ann R. Lohff, 72 of Humboldt (Deer Creek Township) passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013 at her home. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at First United Methodist Church with Rev Andrea Kraushaar officiating. Burial will follow at Elkhorn Township Cemetery. A visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Ann is survived by her husband, David; daughter, Kelli and Charles "Steve" Jarvis of Gilmore City; grandson, Logan Jarvis and step-grandson, Carter Jarvis; sisters-in-law, Janet Dillman of Watseka, IL; Diane Jones of Lytton; brothers-in-law, Brian Lohff and wife Bette of Lytton; Steven Lohff and wife Rose Mary of Sac City; Kevin Lohff and wife Becky of Auburn; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jack K. Dillman; in laws, Willard and Anne Lohff; brothers-in-law, Douglas Lohff and Tom Jones. Ann Renee Dillman, the daughter of Mark and Albina (Hotek) Dillman was born May 18, 1941 in Fort Dodge. She attended school in Fort Dodge, graduating from Fort Dodge Senior High School. On November 11, 1967, Ann was united in marriage to David Lohff at First United Methodist Church in Fort Dodge, Ann was employed by the Lutheran Hospital from 1960 to 1972 and worked in the radiology department. In 1978, she worked for Dr. Sara Sutton and later Dr. Janet Secor. Ann then worked for Dr. Kyle Ver Steeg for sixteen years before retiring in 2003. Ann was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church, 50 year member of the ZCBJ Lodge and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
