Anna Marie Hogan

Anna Marie Hogan, 95, of Fort Dodge passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Marian Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Msgr. Kevin McCoy, officiating. Burial will be in Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be Wednesday from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Anna Marie is survived by her children, Nancy Johnson (the late Curt Johnson) of Ankeny, Barb (John) Davidson of Fort Dodge, 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Frances Adams; and best friend, Lavonne Winninger. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond in 2014, infant daughter Beverly, great granddaughter Abby Woehl sisters Eileen Meyer, Sister Imnocentia, Alice Knudson, Beatrice Schreiber, Veronica Cornell, Katherine Winninger, brothers Al, Roy, and Leo Meyer. Anna Meyer was born September 7, 1924, in Clare to Albert and Kathryn (Hood) Meyer. She was educated in the Catholic schools in Clare and Fort Dodge. She graduated from Corpus Christi High School in 1942. Anna worked at First National Bank for several years. She was united in marriage to Raymond C. Hogan on June 3, 1950 at Corpus Christi Church. Anna was a member of Holy Trinity Parish and Catholic Daughters of America. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
