Annabelle "Annie" M. Royster

Annabelle M. "Annie" Royster, 85, of Duncombe, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 12, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2015 in the Chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home, Fort Dodge. The Service will follow immediately at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Duncombe. Annabelle M. Shea was born July 23, 1930. She attended grade school in Lehigh and Dayton and graduated from Duncombe High School. She was united in marriage on March 2, 1950 to Charles Royster. To this union were 5 children. Annie is survived by their children, Craig (Peg) Royster of Duncombe; Deb (Larry) Freese of Manson; Becky (Joe) Lanoue of Tracy, MN; Kim (Dennis) Worth of Monroe; Kellie (Daryl) Hanson of Duncombe; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren with one on the way. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles in 2005; parents, Ralph and Anna (Powers) Shea; one brother Tom Shea; one sister Rosemary (Shea) Sirianni; grandson, Jordon Royster Hanson; and son-in-law, Glen Sams. The couple made their home in Duncombe. Annie was employed with and retired from Webster City Electrolux. She enjoyed camping, fishing, mushroom hunting and watching sports. Her favorite time was spent with her kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was so proud of them all. She will be greatly missed. Memorials will be left to the discretion of the family.
