Anthony Michael Howard

Anthony M. Howard, 55, of Fort Dodge passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Trinity Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 24, 2014 at Calvary Memorial Church of God in Christ with Rev. Leroy Johnson officiating. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family. Anthony is survived by his wife, Shirley; children, Krystal Howard; Ryan Howard both of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Kaiden; Delane; Mahlik; grandmother, Bessie Williams of Fort Dodge; brothers, Terry of Ames; Theodore of Fort Dodge; sister, Beverly Vinson of Des Moines; step-children, Dealha; Candy; Trey; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and step-grandchildren, Alexis, Alicia, and Trey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Edna (William) Howard. Anthony Michael Howard was born September 23, 1959 in Iowa City. He attended Fort Dodge Public Schools and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. He then attended Iowa Central Community College. Anthony worked as a custodian for the Dyess Air Force Base in Albino, TX for a period of time. He then did highway construction and for many years, he worked for Fort Dodge Asphalt. He has done custodial work for his church for many years. On August 29, 2009 he was united in marriage to Shirley Cox. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
