Anthony "Tony" James Breiholz

Anthony "Tony" Breiholz, 36, of Fort Dodge passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 PM Saturday, May 22, 2021 in the chapel of Laufersweiler Funeral Home. A visitation will be from 4:00 PM Saturday until the start of the service. Tony is survived by his wife, Candice Breiholz, daughters, Lea Painter and Lynn Painter- Breiholz; soon-to-be grandson; father, Brian (Lori) Breiholz of Fort Dodge; mother, Ronna Bell of Vincent; father-in-law, Loren Painter; sisters, Belinda (Maggie) Breiholz and Alex Breiholz of Raleigh, NC; mother-in-law, Janet Danielson; step-father-in-law Orlando Garza; sister-in-law, Cassidi Painter; nieces, Makilya and Taelin; grandmother, Iona Bell; special uncle, Todd (Lori) Breiholz of Clive; other aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends, especially his best friends, Chad Wilson, William "Billy" Ballard, "Ozzy", Adam Wingerson, and Steve Maass. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Bart and Kathy Danielson and his friend for life, Ivan Hudson. Anthony James Breiholz was born October 7, 1984 in Landstuhl, Germany. As a young child, the family moved to Iowa. He attended area schools and graduated from Prairie Valley High School in 2001. He then went on to attend Iowa Central Community College where he received numerous degrees but focused mainly on mechanics and welding. In October of 2004 he met the woman he would spend the rest of his life with, Candice Painter. In 2007 he became an ordained minister. He worked for Jetco for over 8 years. On February 20, 2020 at 2:20 PM he married the love of his life. He had finally convinced her he was ready to do what it takes. Tony could always be found working in his garage on a motor, his race car, Candice's motorcycle which they recently got running together. He loved knowledge, going camping with his family, and kayaking with his daughters. He had a love for salt water fish. He was the happiest when working with his hands in the garage. He loved to help others and was the best uncle to his nieces. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Just remember... "I'll be sitting here,,, waiting for you." Memorials may be left to family discretion.
