Barbara Hanley

Barbara J. Hanley (nee Houser), 88, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2019. She was born in Palestine, Illinois and was resident of Lincoln, Illinois most of her life. Barbara raised three sons, Michael; J. Patrick "Pat" and Sean. She had resided at Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge since 2012. She is survived by her son, Sean (Kathy) Fort Dodge; grandchildren, Heather Hanley; Bridgette (Brian) Flemming; Conor Hanley; Brigid Hanley; Meghan Hanley; four great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Lisa Hanley of Skokie, IL. She preceded in death by her parents, Max and Bernice Houser; sons, Michael; Pat; brothers James; Joseph; and twin sisters, Marlene and Marilyn. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is assisting the family. Services will be private.
