Becky Jo Rentz

Becky Jo Rentz, 55, of Moorland passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at her home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2014 at Fulton Lutheran Church near Roelyn, with Pastor Jim Davis officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Fulton Cemetery. A visitation will be Sunday 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Becky is survived by her sons, Jesse and wife Monica; Rusty (Magen) both of Fort Dodge; grandsons, Conner and Cooper Rentz; mother, Donna (Gronbach) Lemkee of Algona; siblings, Pam Lemkee of Wesley; Kate Samp of Algona; Christine Monson of Lone Rock; Laurie Perkins of Lyons, CO; Nancy Friedrich of Algona and Brian Lemkee of Meza, AZ; and all her special friends. Becky was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lemkee. Becky Lemkee was born December 30, 1958 in Algona. She was raised and educated in Algona, graduating from Algona High School in 1976. In 1979, Becky was united in marriage to Wayne Rentz and the couple established their home in Moorland. In 2003, Becky received her Nursing Certificate from Iowa Central Community College. She currently was employed with Stewart Memorial Hospital in Lake City. She also worked for Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Trinity Regional Medical Center, and Excel Medical. Becky was a member of Fulton Lutheran Church. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
