Betty Joann Trushcheff

Betty Trushcheff, 82, of Fort Dodge passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Trinity Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, with Rev. John Sersland officiating. Burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery. A visitation will be on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family. Betty Trushcheff was born February 28, 1934 to George C. and Clara Siefert in Clare, Iowa. She attended country school and Gilmore City High School. She graduated from Humboldt High School in 1951. She was married to Randal Trushcheff in 1955 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church. She is survived by her children, Kevin (Chris) of Watertown, MN; David (Cathy) of Fort Dodge; Lisa (Chad) Scott of Fort Dodge; and Lori (Dave) Huffman of Clive; 11 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Randal in 1993; siblings, George; Frank; Art; Anne; Elsie; Alma; and Irene. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
