Betty M. Aultman, 94, formerly of Fort Dodge died at Humboldt North Care Center. A visitation will be 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Laufersweiler Funeral Home with a prayer service at 3:00 p.m. Betty Mussleman was born January 10, 1927 in Fort Dodge. She was raised and attended school in Fort Dodge. In 1947, she was united in marriage to Dean F. Aultman at St. Agnes Church in Walker, Minnesota. The couple first made their home in Walker before moving to Fort Dodge in 1950. In 1997, the couple moved to Renwick. Betty was a hardworking homemaker that was an expert seamstress. Betty and Dean were square dancers and even taught their love of dancing to others. The couple took their family camping and fishing often. After Dean's retirement the couple enjoyed wintering in Texas and spending spring and summer months in Iowa and Minnesota. Betty is survived by her children Bettideane Aultman, Mardell Laney, and Kurt Aultman, fifteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cesil and Olivine (Sauvageau) Musselman, children Diane Hansen, Shelia Caldwell, David Aultman, siblings Roland Musselman, Cesil Mussleman Jr., Mardell Reed, and one granddaughter. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
