Beverly Ann Selhaver

October 8, 1942 — April 20, 2013

Beverly A. Selhaver, 70, of Fort Dodge passed away Saturday April 20, 2013 at Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. Funeral services will be held on 11:00 AM Wednesday April 24, 2013 at the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Rev. Edward Durand, pastor of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, officiating. A visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Beverly is survived by her husband, Robert; son, Robert (Rochelle) Selhaver of Fort Dodge; daughter, Paula (Mike) Mallinger of Fort Dodge; grandchildren, Alicia, Matthew, Caleb, Latasha, Echo and Marjie; three great-grandchildren with one more on the way. She is also survived by her brothers, Larry (Beth) Coleman of Humboldt and Paul Coleman of Maryland; sisters, Tilly (Denny) Winnington of Florida; Marilyn (Tom) Gibson; Janice (Jack) Hendrickson; Sandra Schaumburg all of Fort Dodge; Joyce Farmer of Iowa City and Esther (Denny) Degelau of Callender. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Esther (Felgey) Coleman; brothers, Merle and Jerry; sisters, Jackie, Mavis, Joann, and Roberta; and two infant daughters, Dawn and Kelly. Beverly Ann Coleman was born October 8, 1942 in Fort Dodge. She attended school in the Fort Dodge area. On January 20, 1961 she was united in marriage to Robert Selhaver. The couple established their home in Fort Dodge. Beverly worked at Zakeers Restaurant, Globe Union, and at the Pantry is Hastings, MN for a period of time. She loved to dance, play Bingo, watch Soap Operas and spend time with her sisters. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
