Beverly J. Field

Beverly J. Field, 93, of Fort Dodge passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Bickford Cottages. Funeral services are 2:00 PM Monday, December 26, 2022 at First Congregational United Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the Callender Cemetery. A visitation will begin at the church 1 hour prior to the service. Laufersweiler Funeral Home is serving the family. Beverly J Wise was born April 5, 1929 in Fort Dodge. She was raised in Barnum and graduated from Barnum High School in 1947. She then attended Teachers College in Cedar Falls. On June 18, 1950 she was united in marriage to Everett Field. The couple made their home on a farm near Callender. Beverly was very involved in her community, especially her church, United Church of Christ in Moorland. She taught Sunday school and even after moving to Fort Dodge in 1988 she continued her church volunteer work at First Congregational United Church of Christ. Survivors include her sons Bill Field of Lehigh, John (Jennifer) Field of Callender, daughters Barbara (John) Winkels of Alden, Susan (Alan) Haberl of Nevada, 11 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Estella (Joselyn) Wise, husband Everett in 2021, daughter Julie Halverson, grandson Nathan Field and sisters Phyllis Estlund, Carol Jean Sandholm, and Mary Anderson. Memorials may be left to family discretion.
