Billee Irene Ramthun

Rockwell City Billee I. Ramthun 89, of Fort Dodge, formerly of Rockwell City, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home, Fort Dodge. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2018 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, east of Rockwell City, with Pastor Chadric Dietrich officiating. Burial of casket will be at Rosehill Cemetery, Rockwell City. Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Friday at the church until service time. Billee is survived by her sons, Larry (Joan) Ramthun of Twin Lakes, Frederick (Christy) Ramthun of Rockwell City, and Randy (Michelle) Ramthun of Fort Dodge; grandchildren, Jason (Molly) Ramthun of St. Louis, MO, Michelle (Matt) Siefken of Adel, Justin Ramthun and Sarah Ramthun both of Fort Dodge; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Calvin Lawrence, and August George "Gus" Ramthun, Madison and Jackson Siefken; sister-in-laws, Eleanor Green, Iola Ramthun Zimbeck, and Eleanor Hildreth; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence; parents, Howard and Bernice (Holmes) Green; brother Ramon Green; and sister Fredene Kellen. Billee Irene Green Ramthun was born November 17, 1928 in Jolley, Iowa. She graduated from Rockwell City High School in 1946. On October 10, 1948, she was united in marriage to Lawrence A. Ramthun at the Presbyterian Church, Rockwell City. She was employed at Stewart Memorial Hospital in Lake City for 10 years. The family lived in the Rockwell City area. Billee moved to Fort Dodge in 2006. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rockwell City. She was a present member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fort Dodge. Memorials may be left to family discretion SERVICES Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2018 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, east of Rockwell City, with Pastor Chadric Dietrich officiating. VISITATION Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Church until service time. INTERMENT Burial of casket will be at Rosehill Cemetery, Rockwell City.
