Brent Kakacek

Brent M. Kakacek, 58, of Fort Dodge passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, December 2, 2024 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church. A visitation will begin 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Brent is survived by his sons, Corey and Caleb Kakacek both of Fort Dodge and a half brother, Tim Langerman of Fort Dodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Ruth (Marhon) Kakacek.

Brent Michael Kakacek was born February 25, 1966 in Fort Dodge. He was raised and educated in Fort Dodge and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1985. He worked for Misty Harbor for 10 years and then Servpro for over 10 years. Brent was a car enthusiast. He took great pride in caring for and maintaining his vehicles. He enjoyed camping but above all else he loved his boys. He was a member of St. Olaf Church and also enjoyed spending time at Westside Church.
