Brian Zuspann

Brian Allen Zuspann, 63, of Fort Dodge, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, January 12, 2025

A visitation will be on Friday, January 17th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at funeral home.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years Mary Frances, daughter Beth Zuspann, son Loren (Jacqueline) Zuspann, mother Marcella "Sally" Zuspann, grandchildren Joshua Abbiehl and Mara, Eli, Zoey, Amelia, and Chloe Zuspann, brother Tim (Shary Sargent) Zuspann, sister Teresa (Steve) Brandel, nephews Brandon (Felicia) Spencer, Nicholas Spencer, and Noah Smith, sister-in-laws Jean Smith and Sara (Jim) Anderson.

He was preceded by his father Robert C. Zuspann.

Brian Allen Zuspann was born on March 3, 1961 in Fort Dodge. He was raised and educated here and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School Class of 1979. He had a variety of jobs before becoming a glass installer at Iowa Glass and Webster Glass from 1982 to 2008. Brian lived his entire life in Fort Dodge which was centered around his family and friends. If he wasn't at home he could often be found fishing on the shoreline of his favorite spots. Brian took pride in every catch. He also enjoyed painting, cooking, wood working, sewing, tinkering or fixing everything. Even some things that didn't need fixing. Brian was loved by his wife, children, grandchildren, and will be missed by all who knew him.
