Carol M. Mcelduff

Carol Mae McElduff, 83, passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Trinity Regional Medical Center, Fort Dodge, Iowa. Graveside Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2022 at Rosehill Cemetery, Rockwell City, with Bishop Dan Jensen officiating. Palmer & Swank Funeral Home, Rockwell City is serving the family. Survivors include her husband, Bill McElduff of Fort Dodge, Iowa; her siblings, Letha Lane of Las Vegas, Nevada, Joanne Shirley of Emmett, Idaho, Susan LaGrander of Drain, Oregon, Rebecca Stubbs of Oregon and Daniel McKillop of Las Vegas, Nevada; her children, Shannon (Don) Clark of Maui, Hawaii, Jennifer (Al) Call of Ogden, Utah, Angela (Greg) Whall of Taylorsville, Utah, Christine Mathias of Long Lane, Missouri, Stephanie (Dale) Wheeler of Rockwell City, Iowa, and Jerimie (Debbie Garrett) McElduff of Fort Dodge, Iowa; 24 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and many more loving family members and friends. Carol was born on February 7, 1939 to David and Virginia (Head) McKillop in Eugene, Oregon. Carols educational background included Archeology, History, and Genealogy. Carol was united in marriage to Bill McElduff on December 31, 1973. Carol was known for her quick wit and intelligent mind. Throughout Carols life she was devoted to her faith with the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints. She was a choir director and the childrens primary teacher. In Carols free time she enjoyed camping, painting, sewing, crocheting, jewelry making, studying her genealogy line, taking nature rides with Bill across the United States, but most importantly spending time with her family. Carol also had a strong passion for reading. She never went anywhere without a book. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Doris McKillop and Linda Leach; and children, Belinda Muench and Jason McElduff.
