Carol "Toni" Kay Dickerson

Carol "Toni" K. Dickerson, 73, of Fort Dodge, passed away October 20, 2013 at the Marion Home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October, 23rd at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating. Burial will be at North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Carol is survived by her daughters, Cathy Jordison and her husband Allen, Dawn Gronbach and her husband Gary; son, Dave Jones all of Fort Dodge; grandchildren, Anthony Baedke, Amy Halverson, Katie Francis, Matt Gronbach and Kristin Gronbach; 10 great grandchildren; brothers, Mike Palmer, Dick Palmer; sisters, Patty Patterson and Ann Jordison. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Dorothy (Frahm) Palmer; and her sister, Susan Anderson. Carol Kay Palmer was born September 30, 1940 in Fort Dodge. She attended schools here. In October of 1958 she was united in marriage to David L. Jones and the couple made their home in Fort Dodge. They were later divorced. Toni was a checker at Hy-Vee for over 17 years. She enjoyed casinos, cooking, computer games, and scrap booking. Toni was a Foster Grandmother at St. Edmond schools for many years. She loved being with her family especially her grandchildren. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
