Charles Hultine

Charles Allen Hultine, 75 of Fort Dodge passed away Monday, March 25, 2019 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. Charles (Chuck) was born November 16th, 1943 in Milwaukee, WI where he completed his studies and graduated from high school. Chuck enlisted in the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War where he was an airplane mechanic. While enlisted, he was united in marriage to Diana Kramer in West Point, NY. He was honorably discharged from the Army in 1970 and returned to the Milwaukee area. Upon his return, he was employed with the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad, later Union Pacific, and transferred to Fort Dodge in 1973 where they established their home. Chuck retired from the railroad in 2003 and enjoyed his free time with his family and enjoyed going to casinos. Charles is survived by his wife Diana "DJ" Hultine; son, Kevin Hultine of Panama City, FL; daughter, Stacy (Nandan Mandayam) Hultine of Sound Beach, NY; grandchildren, Megan Hultine, Joshua Hultine, Milo Mandayam; step grandchildren, Storm and Kayla Wilbur; 5 great-grandchildren, Talan, Chase, Paityn, Seven, and Hudson; brother, Michael (Jane) Hultine of Ixonia, WI; and sister, Chloie Luckow of Clintonville, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cyril Alfred Francis and Arline Isabel (Elser) Hultine. A private burial will be held at a later date in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter. Laufersweiler-Sievers is serving the family. Memorials may be left to family discretion.
