Charlotte Eleanor Hewett

Charlotte Hewett, 89 of Fort Dodge passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. Private family graveside services are planned at Carpenter Cemetery with Rev. Allen Henderson officiating. There will be no visitation. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family. Charlotte is survived by her children, Bryan Hewett (Susan); Sherill (Michael) Umsted; Perry Hewett (Cathy) all of Fort Dodge; grandchildren, Holly Umsted; April (Andrew) Wicklein; Mark Umsted; great-grandchildren, Lillian, Kambree, Milynne, and Jacob. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis. Charlotte E. Hanke was born June 24, 1923 in Milwaukee, WI. She attended school in the Milwaukee area. In 1946, Charlotte moved to Fort Dodge; later that year she was united in marriage to Willis (Bill) Hewett. The couple established their home in Fort Dodge.
