Christine S Nafe

Christine Susan Nafe, 64, of Fort Dodge passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. A Celebration of Life will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 203 K Street, Fort Dodge. Christine is survived by her daughters, Gina Nafe of Fort Dodge; Stacey (Chris) Eaves of Madisonville, LA; Wendy (Wayne) Terpstra of Henderson, NV; Catherine (Shawn Rix) Barkhaus of Fonda; grandchildren, Zander and Noah Nafe; Jordyn McBeth; Hailey and Derrick VanOrnum; Theresa Barkhaus; great grandchildren, Traygan, Helena and Atari Johnson, Isaac and Adilee Barkhaus; siblings, Norm Linn of Ohio; Steven Johnson of Nevada; Carole De Gore of Florida; Peggy Antosh of Pennsylvania; Beverly Mars of Florida; and Lorraine Ellison of Kentucky. Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Gustave and Nancy (Farren) Linn; first husband, Jerry Ertl and second husband, Kenneth Nafe. Christine was born September 13, 1952 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. In middle school, Christine moved to Iowa. She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. Christine and her husband established their home in Manson for a period of time and in 2004 she moved to Fort Dodge. Christine was a very talented artist. Her passion in life was her four daughters and grandchildren. The family is accepting donations for Paula J. Hospice Home in Christine's name.
