Rockwell City Cindy S. Sittig 65, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023 surrounded by her family at Trinity Regional Medical Center, Fort Dodge. Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2023 at St. Pauls Lutheran & Presbyterian Church, Rockwell City, with Pastor Denise Berns officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Church until service time. Palmer & Swank Funeral Home is serving the family. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family. Cindy is survived by her husband Kurt; children, Michael (fianc Lyndee Mitchell) Sittig of Fort Dodge, Craig Sittig of Rapid City, SD, Laci (Shawn) Deal of Rockwell City, and MJ Sittig of Lytton; 8 grandchildren, Taylor, Trey, Ty, Evelyn, Delaney, Aubri, Ariyah, and Kaizyk; two great-grandchildren, Desmond and Nora; sister Kathy (Ken) Sorenson of Pocahontas; mother-in-law Iona Sittig of Rockwell City; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mike (Tess) Sittig of Rockwell City, Dale Sittig of Fort Dodge, Connie Collins of Rockwell City, Denise Sittig of Rockwell City, and Christine (Leonard) Sedlacek of Twin Lakes; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon Jarvis and Darlene Wulf; sister Connie Jarvis; and brother Richard Jarvis. Cindy Sue Jarvis was born September 18, 1957 at Storm Lake, Iowa. She attended schools in Fort Dodge and Rockwell City. On September 3, 1976 she was united in marriage to Kurt Sittig at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Rockwell City. The couple established their home in Rockwell City. Cindy worked at Sunny Knoll Care Centre and later worked day care with her daughter until her retirement. Cindy was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran & Presbyterian Church.
