Coby John Hacker

Coby John Hacker, 22, of Manson passed away Friday, September 30, 2016 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. A Prayer service will be at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Henderson officiating. A visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home. A Celebration of Coby's Life will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. at the Banquet Hall at the Shore Side Pub and Grub in Manson. Coby's family requests that you wear your favorite Iowa Hawkeye clothes to the Celebration. Coby is survived by his parents, Jana and John Hacker of Manson; sisters, Aubrey (Casey) Collins of Fort Dodge; Kaley Hacker (Blake Bailey) of Livermore; nephew and niece, Crue and Adley Collins; grandfather, Robert Hacker of Gilmore City, IA; and numerous, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Aunt Amy; Uncle Chris; Cousins Megan and Sean; grandmothers, Rachel Hacker and JoAnne Mckee, and his grandfather, Edward Steinhoff. Coby John Hacker was born August 22, 1994 in Fort Dodge. He was raised in Manson and attended Manson Northwest Webster Schools. He transferred to Fort Dodge Senior High School and graduated in 2013. He then attended Iowa Central Community College in the Electrical Program. Coby was most recently employed at the Yacht Club in Humboldt. Coby enjoyed golfing and playing baseball. He liked watching Iowa Hawkeye football and basketball. Coby was also a history and trivia buff. He truly believed in the spirit of giving, through organ donation- Coby helped change the lives of at least 5 people. Memorial may be left to the discretion of the family.
