Corinne E Mandelko

Corinne E. Mandelko, 100, of Fort Dodge passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Journey's , Friendship Haven. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Grace Lutheran Church with Rev. Dan Kahl officiating. A visitation will begin 1 hour prior at the church. Burial will follow in North Lawn Cemetery. Laufersweiler Funeral Home is serving the family. Corinne is survived by her children Carolyn Goold and husband Russ of Hull, Natalie Passow, Paul Mandelko both of Fort Dodge, Dale Mandelko and wife Sandi of Rochester, MN, seven grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and long-time foreign exchange student Norbert Bartelme of Graz, Austria. She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin, parents Herman and Augusta (Wegner) Dubbe, and sisters Miriam Bybee and Lois Lacock. Corinne Elinore Dubbe was born March 1, 1923 in Algona. She was raised in Vincent and Fort Dodge, graduating from FDSH in 1941. She then attended Tobin Business School. On December 19, 1946, she was united in marriage to Melvin Mandelko in Wall, South Dakota in a ceremony performed by her father, a Lutheran minister. The couple made Fort Dodge their home. The owned and operated Super-Draulic Manufacturing until retiring in 1996. In the spring of 2014 she became a resident of Friendship Haven. Corinne was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
