DaKarie Jayvon James, 14, of Fort Dodge died Saturday, June 17, 2023. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. DaKarie is survived by his mother Jill Wesley, father Darone James, siblings Junior, Leighton, and Mallory James, grandmother Dorothy James and many many friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Tony and Deann Wesley. DaKarie was an avid gamer, especially on the PlayStation. His greatest joy came from hanging out with his friends.
