Damon Mosley

Damon Mosley, 51, of Fort Dodge passed away Monday, March 4, 2024 at his home.

Memorial services will be 6:30 - 8:00 PM Friday, March 8, 2024 at Rides Banquet Center with the Celebration of Life to follow.

Damon is survived by his children, Jerrae Bradley, Janea Bradley, Sxiomara Lopez, Ava Lopez, Tarayah Rush, and Xavier Mosley; 3 grandchildren, Eliza, King, and Khalil; father, Robert Crab; sister, Angela Davis (Demetrius Gully); nephew, Javion Davis; and nieces, Ashley Davis-Gully and Neveah Gully; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Mosley; nephew, Will "Woody" Temple; and his grandparents.

Damon Lamonte Mosley was born August 3, 1972 in Iowa City, Iowa. As a young child, the family moved to Texas. He graduated from Madison High School in 1990. On March 4, 2009, he was united in marriage to Lillianna Lopez. The couple later divorced. Damon known as "DJ Yella" to most, loved music. He would complete a days work driving and then come home to setup his equipment down the block or on a beach even out of the trunk of a car to play his music and be the life of the party. Damon enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with his family above all else. He will truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
