Daniel P. Dutcher, 41, of Barnum, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016 at his home. A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 2016 in the Chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Cooper of Evangelical Lutheran Church, Eagle Grove, officiating. A visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the funeral home. Daniel is survived by his children, Mercedes Dutcher and Corbin Dutcher, both of Eagle Grove; dad, Merlin Dutcher of Barnum; sister, Angela VanEvery of Fort Dodge; numerous, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and 1 great niece. He was preceded in death by his mom, Lois Dutcher; and brother, Terry Witte Jr. Daniel Paul Dutcher was born January 15, 1975 in Fort Dodge. He was raised and educated in Barnum, graduating from Manson Northwest Webster High School in 1993. Daniel was employed with C & S Products, Born Free, Electrolux and later worked for R & J Material and Handling. Daniel was united in marriage to Kay Mason on July 2, 1999, and the couple established their home in Thor. They later divorced. Daniel enjoyed riding motorcycles and had a passion for shooting guns and blowing stuff up. He especially treasured time spent with his beloved family. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
