Daniel R. Jones

Daniel R. Jones, 75, of Fort Dodge passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. Graveside services will be on Thursday, April 13th at 11:00 a.m. at North Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Gary Snook, officiating. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family. Daniel is survived by his wife, Diana; children, Rick Jones; Robin Jones both of Fort Dodge; and his sister, Mary Lacaille of Fort Dodge. He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. and Lavonne (Cory) Jones; brother, William Jones, sister, Jane Unglesbee; and his infant twin sisters, Patsy and Peggy. Daniel was born July 30, 1941, in Manson, Iowa. He was raised and educated in Fort Dodge. On August 30, 1963 Daniel was united in marriage to Diana Buckley at St. Paul Lutheran Church. The couple established their home in Fort Dodge. Daniel worked construction for a number of years. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
