Lytton G. Danny Casey 76, passed away Saturday. December 5, 2020 at Trinity Regional Medical Center, Fort Dodge. Private Funeral Services will be held. Burial of casket will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Jolley. A Public Come and Go Viewing will be 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon Monday, Dec. 7, at the Palmer & Swank Funeral Home, where masks are required, and no more than 15 people in attendance at the funeral home at one time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the Rockwell City Food Pantry or to Iowa Public Television. Danny is survived by his wife Connie; son James Casey of Ashton; daughter Jinnie Currie of Little Falls, Minnesota; 6 grandchildren, Shawn, Casey Jo, Cameron, Shyanne, Jesse, and Danny; sister Sharon Greene of Jolley; brother Garland "Spike" Casey of Jolley; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Vyola (Melohn) Casey; sister Connie Rae Casey; and brothers, Patrick and Gary Casey. Gaylen Daniel Casey was born December 8, 1943 at Lake City, Iowa. He attended Jolley Community School where he was a proud Blue Jay and graduated from Rockwell City High School, with the Class of 1963. Danny served in the Air National Guard for 6 years. On February 28, 1965 he was united in marriage to Connie Jensen at the Elk Baptist Church in Alta, Iowa. Danny farmed all his life. He was a life-long member of the Jolley Community United Methodist Church, Twin Lakes Golf Club, Iowa Public Television, VFW, and a Mason. Danny was a good husband, father, and grandfather.
