David Rosalez, 86, of Fort Dodge passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 at Bickford Cottages.
A visitation will be 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Laufersweiler Funeral Home.
David is survived by his daughters Delise (Mike) Terwilliger of Rockwell City, Monica (Chris) Sortedahl of Fort Dodge, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Frank, Louie, Joe and Ramon.
He was preceded in death by his wife Delicia “Dee”, daughter Diana Rosalez, parents Mike and Catalina (Morales) Rosalez, brothers Gilbert, Mike Jr., and sister Mary Wood.
David Rosalez was born March 20, 1937. He was raised in Fort Dodge and joined the United States Navy. On June 23, 1959, he was united in marriage to Delicia Faye in Bethany, Missouri. The couple made Fort Dodge their home. David worked for Kautzky’s as a gunsmith but later began his own business. In 1969, he established Rosalez Lock and Key, which he owned and operated until 2018. David enjoyed music and singing, karaoke.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
