Debi Lee Slawson

Debi Lee Slawson, 71, of Lehigh passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Webster City.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 28th at 2:00 PM at Mineral Ridge Cemetery in Ridgeport.

Debi is survived by her children, Michele (Rick) Wirtjes of Rolfe and Paul (Denise) Wirtjes of Arizona; grandchildren, Courtney Benjamin, Nicky Ludolph, and Lectra Lindahl; great grandsons Liam and Leonardo, siblings, Randy Linn of the Philippines, Maureen (Don) Lamb of Duncombe, Marcia Bradley of Gowrie, Wade Linn of Texas, and Wendi (Gordy) Hacker of Tennessee, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and E. Pauline (Long) Linn and grandson, Michael Lindahl, Jr.

Debi Lee Linn was born February 8, 1953, in Fort Dodge. She worked for a number of nursing homes and provided in-home healthcare. Debi attended McGuire Bend United Brethren Church. She enjoyed being outdoors watching the birds, squirrels and other wildlife. Debi loved her family especially her grandchildren. Growing flowers and gardening brought her a special joy. Debi loved to listen to Bluegrass Music.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
