Delores A. Lunn

Delores "Dee" A. Lunn, 88, of Fort Dodge passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Fort Dodge Health and Rehab. Celebration of Life will be 11:00 AM Monday in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Rev. Susan Rohden, officiating. Burial will take place at Otho Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 9:00 AM till 11:00 AM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Delores is survived by her daughters, Sandy Jorgensen and husband Larry of Omaha; Patty Dorothy and husband, Al Jr. of Fort Dodge; Cindy Dvorak and husband, Chuck of Cosmos, MN; her grandchildren and great grandchildren; Shawn (Melissa) Baker and children, Alexander and Isabelle Baker of Urbandale; Chris (Adrianne Peters) Baker and children, Christopher, Jamison, Weston Baker and Emmersyn Peters of Fort Dodge; Jenny (Kevin) Windham and children, Lexy, Kylie, Jaycie Windham of Urbandale; and Jeff Dorothy of Urbandale. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lunn in 2003 and her parents, Herlin and Harriet Davis. Delores Arlene Davis was born on January 28, 1930. She was raised and educated in Otho, graduating from Otho High School. On April 23, 1939, she was united in marriage to John Lunn and the couple made their home in Otho. Dee worked for Leighton Supply, Tobins, and then JC Pennys as the catalog manager before retiring in 1975. Delores was a member of the Otho United Methodist Church. She loved to fish, travel, golfing, playing cards and was an avid bowler. Dee also enjoyed video games especially playing guitar hero. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
