Rockwell City Delores L. Anderson 85, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Regency Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Carroll. Private Family Graveside Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Rosehill Cemetery, Rockwell City, with Rev. Owen R. Englin officiating. Palmer & Swank Funeral Home, Rockwell City is serving the family. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family. Delores is survived by her children, Pam Corderman of Carroll, Linda Winker of Lake City, Jeffrey (Barbara) Anderson of Rockwell City, and James Anderson of Rockwell City; 4 grandchildren, Brooke (Eric) Bruning and their children, Zoe and Kaleb of Breda, Travis (Maranda) McMeekin of Cedar Rapids, Emily Winker of Lake City, and Naomi Egesdal of Emmetsburg; sister Sharon Cummings of Emmetsburg; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Holger and Hazel (Reed) Jensen; sisters, Mildred Johnston and Harriett McMean; brother Alfred Jensen; and son-in-law Larry Corderman. Delores Lerann Jensen Anderson was born June 10, 1937 at Jefferson, Iowa. She graduated from Bayard High School at Bayard, Iowa with the Class of 1955. Delores operated an in-home day care for many years. She later worked as a cook for Caseys in Rockwell City for 15 years until her retirement in 2008. In 2020, she became a resident of Regency Park Nursing & Rehabilitation in Carroll.
