Delores M. McCoy, 100, of Omaha and formerly of Fort Dodge passed away at her daughter's home Sunday, February 13, 2022. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 PM Thursday at Holy Trinity Church with Rev. Brian Feller officiating. Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be noon until the start of the service Thursday at the church. Laufersweiler Funeral Home is serving the family. Delores is survived by her daughter, Holly McCoy of Omaha, daughter and son-in-law Lori and Mike Marchese of Des Moines and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Marie (Brighi) Calisesi, husband, Marvin, son Rob, 2 sisters, Lydia and Peggy and 2 brothers, John and Raniero. Delores Marie Calisesi was born July 1, 1921 in Fort Dodge. She was raised and educated in Fort Dodge, graduating from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1939. She was employed at Tobin Packing Plant from 1941 to 1951. On June 28, 1949 she was united in marriage to Marvin McCoy at Holy Rosary in Fort Dodge. The couple established their home and soon after Delores became a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church, and a past member of the Ladies Union and the Legion of Mary. Memorials may be left to Mercy High School, 1501 South 48th Street, Omaha, NE 68106 or to the discretion of the family.
