Delores Taylor

Delores "Bubs" Taylor, 84, of Fort Dodge, passed away Friday, March 18, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Thursday, March 24, 2022 in the chapel of Laufersweiler Funeral Home. A visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Delores is survived by her children Wade (Eileen Long) Taylor of Fort Dodge, Kolette (Robert) Nelson of Newcastle, WY, Mark (Celia) Taylor of Fort Dodge, Scott Taylor of Fort Dodge, Rod (Toni) Taylor of Kelley, 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, brother Merton "Tony" (Sue) Luba of Fernley, NV. She was preceded in death by parents Merton and Verna (Young) Luba, husband Larry in 2015, grandson Adam Taylor and infant sister Darlene. Delores Fern Luba was born on February 18, 1938, in Lehigh where she was raised and educated until moving to Fort Dodge to finish her education. She was united in marriage to Larry M. Taylor on September 23, 1955, and the couple made their home in Fort Dodge. She was employed by KMART for over 27 years. Bubs was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing. Her favorite pastimes were feeding the birds and enjoying the view of the Lizard Creek from her deck. She loved traveling world wide with her husband and adored spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
