Dennis "Denny" Pierce

Dennis "Denny" Pierce, 68, of Otho, passed away on Tuesday, February 15th, 2022. A Celebration of Denny's Life will be held on Monday February 21st from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Survivors include his close friend Terry Pierce, brother Richard (Annette) Pierce of Redmond, OR, nephews Jayson, Darvin, Dana, Darren, Dusty, David Jr. and his niece Kathy. He was preceded by his parents Harold and Mary (Little) Pierce, and brother David H. Pierce. Dennis G. Pierce was born on November 9, 1953, in Fort Dodge. He was raised and educated in Calhoun County and graduated from Cedar Valley High School. He then attended Iowa Central Community College. On November 5, 1982, he was united in marriage to Terry Goforth in Sioux Falls, SD, and the couple established their home in Kalo-Otho. The couple were later divorced but remained friends. Denny worked at Lambert Hamlin Construction in Sioux City, later was at Quad County Ag Services, Paton IA. He enjoyed camping, traveling, and trips to Mexico and Arkansas. Denny loved his family, friends and especially his niece and nephews. The one thing he truly loved to do was ride his motorcycle. Denny was friend of Dr. Bob and Bill W.
