Dennis E. Hanrahan

Dennis E. Hanrahan, 81, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020. A celebration of Dennis's life will be held on Friday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Funeral will be held on Saturday June 27th at 10:00 AM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Survivors include his son Randy Hanrahan of Hedrick, IA, son Joseph (Kathy) Hanrahan of Phoenix, AZ, daughter Tamie (Kevin) Lunn of Fort Dodge, grandchildren, Kelsey Lunn, Keaton (Kara) Lunn, Amy Farrell, Ashley (Mike) Sunderman, Craig (Inhyn) Hanrahan, Randi Kay Hanrahan, Lydia LaRae; 12 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Vera (Curry) Hanrahan, wife Judith "Judy" Hanrahan brothers Ed, Jerry, Mick and Jack Hanrahan, sisters Patricia O'Donnell, Bette Ruge, Donna Lessmeier and Virginia Roberts. Dennis E. Hanrahan was born on January 14, 1939 in Fort Dodge where he was raised and educated. He graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1957. Dennis served in the National Guard from 1954 to 1962. On September 7, 1957 he was united in marriage to Judith "Judy" Nolen and the couple established their home in Fort Dodge. He worked for RoJohn Home Improvement from 1958 until semi-retiring in 2005. Dennis was a member of Holy Trinity Parish. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
