Dennis Lee Steib

Dennis L. Steib, 78, of Fort Dodge passed away December 10, 2021 at Trinity Regional Medical Center. A joint Celebration of Life for Dennis and his wife Carol will be Monday, December 20, 2021 from noon to 4:00 PM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Dennis is survived by his children, Allen Steib and Jaci Steib both of Fort Dodge; grandchildren, Nick Hogan, Zak Steib, Abigayle Steib, and Karsyn Steib; great-grandchildren, Harpper, Kaden and Emarie, Damian, Owen, Shayna, and Halle; brother, Lonnie Steib of Pahrump, NV. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol in 2020; parents, Peter and Opal (Edwards) Steib; daughter-in-law, Kristi Steib; and sister, Sharon Steib. Dennis Lee Steib was born August 14, 1943 in Fort Dodge. He attended and graduated from Fort Dodge public schools. In 1964, he was united in marriage to Carol Marsh at Sacred Heart Church. The couple made their home in the Coleman area of Fort Dodge and later moved to Tara where they established Tri-pac Auto Crushers. The company later moved to Fort Dodge and was in business for over 40 years. Dennis enjoyed puzzles, gambling, crushing things, telling jokes and making people laugh, but above all he loved his family. Memorials may be left to family discretion.
