Diane Cronin

West Des Moines - Diane Cronin 77, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022. Graveside Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Rosehill Cemetery, Rockwell City, with Father Lynn Bruch officiating. A luncheon will follow at the Rockwell City Community Center on the Square. Diane Carver Cronin was born February 12, 1945 to Warren and Genevieve (Johnson) Carver at Rockwell City, Iowa. She graduated from Lohrville High School with the Class of 1963 and then attended Grandview University where she obtained her Associates Degree. She then furthered her education at Drake University where she graduated with her undergrad and Masters in Elementary Education. Diane spent 30 years as an elementary teacher in the Des Moines Schools. Diane married her high school classmate and "Best Friend for Life" the love of her life Larry Cronin in July 1972. Diane loved reading, doing puzzles and quizzes from the newspaper, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her husband Larry; brother Jim (Judie) Carver of Rockwell City; nephews, Brian (Missy) Carver, Jason Carver, Kevin (Brandie) Carver; and other extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Iowa Chapter American Cancer Society in loving memory of Diane.
