Donald Edward Anderson

Donald E. Anderson, 84, of Fort Dodge, passed away Sunday, August 02, 2015 at the Simpson Health Center, Friendship Haven. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 7, 2015 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Laupp officiating. Burial will be at North Lawn Cemetery. A visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Donald is survived by his sister-in-laws, Edith Anderson and Verna Anderson, both of Fort Dodge; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Julia (Hoaglund) Anderson; brothers, John and Joseph; sisters, Edith; Frances; Grace; Dorothy; infant sister, Bernice; and infant baby brother. Donald Edward Anderson was born August 6, 1930 in Fort Dodge. He attended and graduated from Fort Dodge Schools. Donald worked at Cy's restaurants and was later employed with Friendship Haven. He was a member of First Baptist Church and was a part of the First Baptist Men's Group. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
