Jolley Donald "Hoppie" L. Hopkins 78, died Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Jolley, Iowa. Graveside Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Crown Hill Cemetery, Jolley, with Pastor Anita Bane officiating. Hoppie is survived by his wife Vada; daughter Marlene (Craig) Beatty of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandsons, Scott and Aaron Beatty; great-granddaughter Laina; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gailord and Evelyn (Schull) Hopkins. Donald Lee Hopkins was born December 12, 1941 at Sac City, Iowa. He attended Jolley Community Schools. On May 22, 1964 he was united in marriage to Vada Tammen at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Manson. Hoppie owned and operated a Roto-Rooter Service for over 40 years until his retirement.
